Thursday, July 31, Chicago.
Once we finished a very yummy, high protein breakfast of eggs, lox and tomato omelet,
Patty and I got the tickets and waited for Diana. We decided to stand and wait in line so to get the best seats... which we did: in the front, no obstructions.
It was just a delicious 1 1/2 hours with the docent having very lively and punctuated commentary.
That evening Trey and his girlfriend, Patricia, came over for dinner. We BBQ'd, showed off sword playing skills,
laughed until we cried,
and rebounded with a new sense of hope. Life IS tough and sometimes, we have to BE tough... but, not too tough to lose love. A newly restored faith that neutral will soon be 3rd gear.
The night lasted far too long, as Patricia had a 7am call, but it was clear, no one wanted it to end.
